Get Lost

In preparation for the 4th season premiere of Lost on 1/31, I recently added season 3 to our DVD collection and consumed it. Not content with that, I am wrapping up season 2 again as well. I had forgotten some of the character’s background stories and how annoying they are like Shannon and Ana Lucia. One performance stands above the rest for me and that is the character played by Michael Emerson who should win one of the awards that the television industry awards themselves with. His character starts off with an assumed identity (Henry Gale) to infiltrate the Lost camp and plays the poor victim and is abused for information because he is not trusted. At the same time, he plays the cast against each other while still playing innocent. Later, we find out he is the leader (Ben Linus) of the people they call the "Others" and is just as cunning and ruthless in his mission.

Sorry, no spoilers here and I know it is a very vague description but it is to be seen and not explained. There is a lengthy series explanation so far on Wikipedia, or go sign up for Netflix and rent the season, go to your library and rent it or view them in it’s entirety for free on ABC.com

Here is a photo lifted from the Internet that is a screenshot of a scene where Henry/Ben reacting to the fact he played with someone’s mind and they react unknowingly against someone else.

deception

This little guy is a creepy, deceptive SOB, and I like it.
