With the warming trends in the Southeast rising to meet Spring and the moisture that comes in from the gulf, tornadoes have touchdown and caused major damage today. In Enterprise, Alabama, 8 confirmed fatalities from a tornado-damaged high school.
Here in the Birmingham area, there has been a lot of rain and high wind gusts with tornadoes marching up interstates 59 & 20 towards the metropolitan area.
