Thanks to Andre for the breaking blog news. Ever since the abrupt but forseeable downfall of the X at 100.5 FM last week, Birmingham was searching for an alternative (punny) station for their alt-rock music.
The new station is called the Vulcan on the FM dial at 105.5FM. This replaces the Hallelujah gospel radio station which has updated their website. Were they canned as abruptly as the X was or did they have some notification?
