One of the scariest places in America is right here in Birmingham at the Sloss Fright Furnace. A tourist attraction now, Sloss Furnace was a major part of Birmingham’s industrial complex and created Vulcan, the world’s largest iron statue overlooking the city. Every year, Sloss hosts the mile long Fright Furnace.
