I’d like to highlight another local blogger and Birmingham advocate, Andre Natta. A graduate from SCAD in Savannah and originally a NYC native, Andre works tirelessly to promote the city through various civic groups such as Catalyst (I am a member as well).
I first met Andre at Barcamp Birmingham and had the pleasure of listening to his idea of a “happy hour for a cause” in support of our friends in the Gulf Coast. The event was on his birthday but instead of gifts for him, he asked supporters to bring donations for victims.
