The Oklahoma Sooners had a prolific season in college football this year and earned a trip to the national championship game. That’s it. As the #1 team playing against the Florida Gators, the final score was 24-14. Oklahoma lost their 5th bowl game in the past 5 years.
Three out of these 5 games have been in the national championship.
OU coach Bob Stoops has taken his team to the title game four times in ten years and still has only one win.
This is an outstanding feat in itself and really shows what a great program Oklahoma has.
It isn’t enough. What now?
I’m looking forward to rugby and soccer seasons.
