AT&T Gets It Right…For Once

I enjoy shiny toys just like the next geek wannabe and have enjoyed my 8925 Tilt smartphone. One day I needed to find a number in Wonderwife’s phone and was shocked at how tiny the screen was, complicated, buried menu items and poor graphics on her vintage Motorola Razor.

So I went online to order her an upgrade and saw a shiny, pink Nokia with free shipping and free activation ($18). It arrived the next day, but wow, it sucked harder than the phone it was intended to replace!

I took it to a brick and mortar store, you know, like in the old days. They took it back, even after it was activated without question. Having learned my lesson and remembering at least 1 of the 4 criteria she had asked for after seeing the Nokia, I decided to get her the Samsung Propel.

Sliding QWERTY keyboard, widescreen, great graphics, wifi, GPS, cameras, bluetooth, 3G and more all in a nice white/red body. Oh, and I got her free bluetooth headset, car charger and carrying case too.

Way to go AT&T; as frustrating as you have been in the past to me, you really helped me out and made me look good doing it as well.

Oh, and in case you were wondering what it looks like, it is the same phone Ozzy Osbourne uses in the recent, funny commercial.
