I just found out about a book called GPS Outdoors by Russell Helms. I found it in an article about trail running in the Birmingham News. I’ve tried trail running a few times. I got my start when going downhill too fast so it was either run it out or do an endo (end over end fall).
So when I get my GPS, I’ll be sure to check the book out as well.
Russell Helms is also the author of a book I enjoy called 60 Hikes Within 60 Miles: Birmingham.
