This girl is ready for spring as she sports her dress and rabbit ears!

The Mojo has been super busy and has lost his blogging mojo for over a week. Various reasons apply such as travel, brother’s wedding, day job kicking my tail and new website development.
All will be better soon. For updates, you can follow me on Twitter:

I had an opportunity to shoot George Thorogood & the Destroyers at the Alabama Theatre Sunday night. These guys can still rock and they know it. I’ll edit more photos and post them here & Flickr as well.
A big thank you to Jenna at Mike Donahue Management and most especially to the lovely Angela at Live Nation for escorting me around the theatre!
No, I didn’t get wasted, although at times I sure would have liked it. It started Thursday night when I could not go to sleep. Daphne was sick and fussy. On Friday night I had every intention of going to a party and a sci-fi convention (to photograph the freaks & geeks). Forget it. I was too exhausted. I was so exhausted in fact that I could not sleep until 7:30 AM. I was up twittering with some friends overnight about our severe storms here and Atlanta’s tornado after that.
Any and all plans to clean/organize were lost as well. Who had the energy?
Saturday night and again, no sleep.
was going to mow but the riding mower could not start. I attempted the push mower with the same result. Screw it, I’ll just surf the interwebs.
Tonight, the 3rd and final event for the weekend is the George Thorogood concert at the Alabama Theatre and I am not missing that. I have backstage pass to photograph and I am not going to miss out.
Photos later his week as I need to recover and go back to work. Short work week though because I am flying to Tulsa for my little brother’s wedding. W00t!
When I was growing up, I rocked on the arcade game called Spy Hunter. In this game, the object is to just keep driving and avoid the Bond-like cars, helicopters and boats. A new Pontiac commercial pays homage as seen here. Cool! Now I wonder if they have this game for the Wii…
So this being a Friday, aren’t you glad you don’t have to look at this for another two days? After a long week in a small room with 20 people, 20 laptops and a projector with 75 degree heat, I am out of here, people.
Tonight, I am headed to the Terminal’s first birthday party and OmegaCon. Sunday night I am shooting George Thorogood & the Destroyers and maybe even a couple of groupies while I am backstage. Rock on.

the face of discomfort in the doc’s office
Our little bundle of joy was not feeling so joyous yesterday. She’s had a fever off/on for the past 2 days around 99. When I got home from work, she was burning up, her hands/feet were cold and bluish. We visited a pediatrician (after hours) who diagnosed a virus. No flu.
When we got home she was nursed and laid down for a long nap. After waking up she was cool and clammy and in a great mood. Shortly after, she was smiling again, jumping on daddy and pulling the hairs on the dog’s snout.
That is one tough little girl to look a virus down and just say "whatever, man"!
