Anyone who is a parent understands that when a toddler decides that something is theirs, you suddenly lose ownership of it. This is the way it is with my family. Daphne has decided to claim the iPod Touch we own. I’ve added a page of games for her that are both educational and fun. A few of them are paid apps and the others are lite (free) versions that you can enjoy and upgrade if you wish.
Dr. Seuss’s ABC (paid)

Toddler Teaser Shapes. Get them right and you get digital stickers. TT also has alphabet games too.
Balloon Animals (paid)
Select the color balloon, shake it and you made an interactive animal.

Doodle Buddy allows you to create anything with a blank canvas or add your own photos. (cute pic of Daph not included!)
Pocket Pond
DVD really enjoys seeing the fish in her Papa’s pond and now she has her very own. She can make waves, feed the fish, see dragonflies and lily pads.
Feed Me!
This cute little guy can’t get enough to eat. He describes what he wants and you figure it out. He’ll eat anything but will let you know if he likes the answer or not. He wanted an “M” and got something else. Yuck!
With Martian, you get to mix and match body parts to create your own. Isn’t she gorgeous?
Elias’ Zoo
I love the graphics on this app. Flip through the deck of animal flash cards and they will identify themselves and make noises.
Ramp Champ
Skeeball! Who doesn’t enjoy it? Different levels & challenges. You can earn tickets and choose your prizes! I’ll be gracious and admit that WonderWife is the champ of this one with Daphne close behind.
Where’s Gumbo?
I like the background story here. A father develops this simple lost & found game for his kids. All 3 of them get to narrate too. Before Daphne could say “Ipod” she called it “Gumbo” for some reason. I want my Gumbo, daddy.
Disney’s Fairies Fly
She is currently obsessed with the Tinkerbell movies and this game too. Help Tinkerbell and her friends.
Team Umi Zoomi
I don’t know anything about these guys other than they use shapes and math skills. I know it is a show on Nickelodeon and the game is consuming a lot of battery power when she plays it constantly.
