For reasons I cannot explain properly, I have added tenfold to my collection of paper books this past year. Here is a list of a few of these in book catalog from the Library page. I just realized the number there is actually way lower than listed because I haven’t kept up the records.
In addition to print books, I have acquired almost 400 movies and music on various disc formats. I’ve also added vinyl records as well. Maybe one day I will add a multi-media catalog to this site?
In the back of my mind, and maybe a justification for all of this is future-proofing. Streaming costs could skyrocket. Streamers may choose not to carry the desired movie. Maybe it is because one day I will have the courage to start closing some streaming subscriptions.

Actually, if I am paying for only two of these that can’t be too bad, now can it? But for now, I am enjoying smell of a book, the crackles and hisses from an old record and the clarity of a musical CD.
