I’ve been planning a move out of the United States for 15 years but now starting to think about it in earnest. I fell in love with the Dominican Republic and was planning on there as my new home but my S.O. suggested other countries as well such as Spain, Italy or Portugal. I don’t want to be a tourist, not a traveler or a digital nomad. I want to be an expatriate and fully integrate into my new country.
Now taking on pros/cons/suggestions for the these countries.
